Ergonomics – Barrel Sauna Comfort  

Bathing comfort cannot be overlooked when investing in an outdoor sauna barrel. The diameter of the barrel and the bench/backrest configuration must be considered. Barrels with a small diameter may be priced lower (less materials), but the trade-offs are door height, bench comfort, and headroom. Smaller diameter barrels have a tighter arc which can create seating posture challenges, impact standing upright, and require one to duck upon entry and exit. ERGO Series Sauna Barrels benefit from a 6’5” interior height. Due to its large diameter, benches can be ergonomically contoured and formfitting. The generous barrel arc can support an expansive and arched backrest for true lumbar support. Touch and feel were not ignored when selecting the knot-free, silky-smooth grade-A Thermo-Aspen seating material designed to hug most any body size.

The Model E7G features bronzed, full-height, tempered glass sidelight windows that, combined with the matching tempered glass door, create a full glass front wall. Every SaunaLife barrel begins with industry-leading 1.65” thick full-length staves that encapsulate the sauna and provide exceptional thermal resistance (R-value). This chemical-free, eco-friendly wood is dimensionally stable and ideally suited for outdoor saunas. We even build showers out of it! Wood thickness is the theme in the SaunaLife ERGO Series and provides bathers with ergonomically crafted benches and backrests from Thermo-Aspen (1.1” thick and 3-1/2” wide) nearly 50% thicker than most.

Don’t be fooled by the simple design and installation process, the ERGO-Series is jam-packed with barrel sauna innovation. Go ahead and splash the water, these beautiful outdoor spaces are built to thrive with water! It begins with industry-leading 1-7/8” wide and 1/8” thick stainless steel barrel bands that compress the massive staves and create a wellness retreat. Then, a watertight DIY shingle kit (a necessity for every barrel sauna) with side-mounted drip edges provides exceptional rainwater management. Inside the barrels are dual floor drains. One is purposefully placed under the sauna heater to allow water-tossing pleasure. A second drain is near the door, where cold plunge or pool water may collect. Should this barrel shift out of level, these dual floor drains have this covered.  

Illumination – Sauna lighting inside and out 

Illuminating the barrel showcases the beauty of the wood and enhances the sauna experience. Only low-voltage and waterproof LED lighting will do. SaunaLife provides a superior white LED lighting system that is Wi-Fi app-based and allows one to set the ideal scene prior to entering the sauna. A hand-held remote control is also provided for on/off/dim operation. SaunaLife’s white LED fixture is heat and water certified (IP67) and is dotless so it provides an enchanting, even glow. Shipping Charges

Free Shipping - On all saunas, hot tubs & heaters
Sauna Stones - $99
Dundalk Accessories - $50 
All other accessories - $30 

Additional charges may apply in certain locations and circumstances such as:

• Delivery sites inaccessible by standard carriers (FedEx, UPS) will be charged an LTL freight fee.
• Roads that cannot accommodate at least Class 6 Size Vehicles, such as remote or island locales.
• Crates exceeding 92” in length can't be handled by a standard liftgate. If this happens, you'll need to manually unload the crate (with help), employ a moving service, or use forklift equipment. Note: The driver is not allowed to assist in these situations due to insurance constraints.
• Any delay in receiving your delivery beyond 48 hours from the initial contact by the freight company might result in a daily storage fee of $100.

Shipment methods and sizes

Most saunas kits are shipped as kits pre-packaged onto a pallet and sent via LTL.

Pre-assembled saunas are shipped via flat-bed truck delivery by special appointment. These product will require off-loading from the flat-bed truck by a crane or extended forklift. This is not provided by the courier so you will be responsible for arranging the offloading and transporting the product to its final location.

Shipping Timeline

Upon placing your order, you'll promptly receive an "Order Acknowledgment" email, indicating we've got your order details. We will then check with our suppliers to ensure your selected item is ready for dispatch. Most of our off-the-shelf saunas and accessories are primed for quick shipping, whereas tailor-made saunas require more time (refer to the Shipping Timeline below).

Where we ship to

We ship to all states within the contiguous United States. excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and and US islands. If you're located in these areas or need shipping specifics, please reach out for a detailed quote. Your order will first be sent to the closest freight terminal near you. Upon its arrival, the freight carrier will contact you to schedule a curb-side delivery at your convenience.

Where we ship from

All orders are shipped directly from the manufactures warehouses in Illinois & Ontario. This ensures the fastest possible delivery at the lowest cost for our customers.
 
We do not offer any Chinese or Asian manufactured saunas and all shipments are from inside the United States or Canada.

Receiving Your Order

The shipping company will contact you to schedule your delivery. Upon arrival:

1. Inspect Upon Arrival: Before signing any paperwork, take care to inspect your delivered items.
2. Count & Confirm: Make sure all pieces of your order are present.
3. Hidden Damages: If you find damages not initially evident during delivery, report them immediately to sales@secretsaunas.com

Handling Shipment Damages

Shipping damages, while uncommon, fall into two categories:

1. Visible Damage: Damage is evident on the container/crate.
2. Concealed Damage: Contents are damaged, but the container appears intact.

For visible damages or if items are missing, it's crucial to make precise notes on the delivery receipt. If concealed damages are found after unboxing, report them within 72 hours. Finnish Sauna Builders will replace any damaged or missing components if reported within this window. Claims made after this period cannot be addressed.

Refusals

If you choose to refuse your order upon delivery for reasons other than evident damages or a shipping mistake, you'll be subject to a 20% restocking fee along with any related shipping charges.
